I don&#39;t do anything that interesting with my phone, it&#39;s a stock Android from Google, and plain consumer apps. The only unusual thing on it is Firefox as the default browser.</p>

That is frustrating. </p><p>I wasn&#39;t nerdsniping at all, just trying to grok the issues. <br />The fedi model works for me, but I don&#39;t rely on the server feed at all. </p><p>I also generally don&#39;t have people discussing things I&#39;ve published (since I generally don&#39;t have publications). </p><p>Not being aware that it&#39;s happening is problematic though. I am a little surprised that people didn&#39;t bother to tag you in on the discussion.
