@gamingonlinux Also, Liam, did you ACTUALLY think these companies are trustworthy!?

@gamingonlinux let's eliminate the cheater problem once and for all - block it from running on Windows as well!

Jeez, PCGamesN clickbait farming is just getting silly, an actual headline:

"You won’t believe some of the games in the Steam Deck most played list right now"

Really? I won't believe it? I'm pretty sure I will, since Valve have the stats available public for anyone to see.

@gamingonlinux “Our dev team wanted to provide a bit more context…” read: We can’t be bothered or don’t know how to figure out anti-cheat on Linux.

Whilst I agree with your comment Valve probably need to do something, so do game developers. The Steam Deck has made Linux more mainstream and developers can just keep making excuses now. Well they can I guess…

This thing could have just been the chamber and columns with a few short racks of equipment around it.

Instead you have to crawl inside of the microscope between a rack with a bunch of exposed terminals and the turbo pump with a several pound rotor spinning at 48,000 rpm (it crashes if you bump it to hard). The bundle of cables I’m about to route behind me has multiple 7kV ion pump cables and 10kV detector cables. Wcgw.

@gamingonlinux I was JUST THE OTHER DAY considering coming back to Apex, haven't played a fun BR with my friends in a while... guess that's not happening.

I can't wait to see how this makes little to no difference in preventing cheaters from cheating in their game. But at least they tried, right?
