one of my guilty pleasures is always posting charts that have properly labelled axes with units specified

my second favorite activity is something that involves a log-scale y-axis

my favorite activities involve a log-log scale

@film_girl @agiletortoise i'm totally down with that.

and i'm definitely a fan of going to a all day shared venu to see a half dozen old acts that are working together to pull in a bigger shared crowd. and hey, weed(ish) gummies are quasi legal here anyway. i may be 50 -- but music in the open air is pretty cool.

I have been to a couple of great Bluegrass festivals, but it’s a pretty different scale and more of a community thing with a lot of unique, impromptu jams.

Also probably still having a little negative energy about the big festivals because one of my kids was at Astroworld when shit went sideways a couple years ago.

@isaiah @agiletortoise I did the first Bonaroo and Coachella a few times and I did smaller festivals in Atlanta in middle school and high school where I saw some of my favorite performances ever — I always enjoyed Warped Tour too. Your critique isn’t incorrect, but the appeal before the prices got insane really was getting to see so many different types of acts with 100k other people. I wouldn’t do it now unless I had premium VIP b/c I got bougie but I have fond memories.

I also think Apple, CrossOver, or Valve should hire him to do this sort of work. Valve or Apple could even open source it. OK, Apple would never, but Valve could. Anyway, props @isaacmarovitz thanks for your excellent project.
