<p>My ARP impl in Spade now works, my computer can ask who has the IP address of the FPGA, and it replies correctly :)</p><p>Still incredibly pleased with this stream based network packet API. It makes packet transformation super easy, and nicely decouples "fmax buffers" from behaviour</p><p>Also very pleasing that Spade is now expressive enough to do all of this</p>

We definitely could dial it up a bit further (e.g. eating and sleeping in the lab, only leaving to use the downstairs bathroom and wearing a N95 when I did that, using disposable utensils and plates, etc) but this seemed like a reasonable compromise between isolation and practicality.</p><p>For obvious reasons the lab has a no food/drink policy, and a narrow hallway on a concrete floor with constant fan noise would not be the best place to sleep. So turning it into an isolation room would come with risks and significant discomfort on top of being sick.</p>
