Hello! I'm Elena Rossini, an Italian filmmaker, photographer and FOSS advocate based in Paris, France. <br />
<br />
Pictured here: at the Louvre museum after a portrait shoot (for a book jacket's author's pic: Monica Parker, The Power of Wonder). I'm proudly wearing around my neck my 3 cameras: a <a href="https://photos.elenarossini.com/discover/tags/Canon?src=hash" title="#Canon" class="u-url hashtag" rel="external nofollow noopener">#Canon</a> 5D Mark IV, a <a href="https://photos.elenarossini.com/discover/tags/Fujifilm?src=hash" title="#Fujifilm" class="u-url hashtag" rel="external nofollow noopener">#Fujifilm</a> X-T3 and a <a href="https://photos.elenarossini.com/discover/tags/Nikon?src=hash" title="#Nikon" class="u-url hashtag" rel="external nofollow noopener">#Nikon</a> Z fc (which has my favorite lens, a Sigma 30mm f/1.4).<br />

I'm delighted to see Pixelfed growing into such a nice photo community.
<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@whitequark" class="u-url mention">@<span>whitequark</span></a></span> my guess is that we just don't have very many optimizations driven by partial undefs. </p><p>like, if you read undef and multiply by 2 you get the set of evens... but how many optimizations care about an input that is an indeterminate even number?</p>
<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@whitequark" class="u-url mention">@<span>whitequark</span></a></span> QE isn't something I know a lot about! but here's something by the CVC5 people:</p><p><a href="http://homepage.divms.uiowa.edu/~ajreynol/pres-dagstuhl15.pdf" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no"><span class="invisible">http://</span><span class="ellipsis">homepage.divms.uiowa.edu/~ajre</span><span class="invisible">ynol/pres-dagstuhl15.pdf</span></a></p>

<p>Just learned about this recent case where a transgender person in Karnataka, India successfully challenged the Registrar to accommodate name and gender changes (not possible by prior law). Progress that I couldn't have imagined decades ago.<br /><a href="https://clpr.org.in/litigation/ms-x-v-state-of-karnataka/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">clpr.org.in/litigation/ms-x-v-</span><span class="invisible">state-of-karnataka/</span></a></p>
