<p>SMT people write useful fucking documentation challenge (impossible)</p>
<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@whitequark" class="u-url mention">@<span>whitequark</span></a></span> they're purging literally everything Biden-era from the looks of it.</p>
<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@whitequark" class="u-url mention">@<span>whitequark</span></a></span> shouldn't be hard to hack into cargo-mommy. I</p>
<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@whitequark" class="u-url mention">@<span>whitequark</span></a></span> the thing I dislike about not having tooling like this is working in different codebases with different formatting styles and having to manually match the house style. To me that feels like busywork. I don't care whether I agree with your style, I'm happy to match it in your codebase, just don't make me do it by hand. 😩</p>
<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@whitequark" class="u-url mention">@<span>whitequark</span></a></span> its use feels to me like a concession of carelessness,</p><p>but sometimes, i feel i must concede</p>
<p>i don't use rustfmt because i hate being clicker trained</p>
<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://haunted.computer/@iximeow" class="u-url mention">@<span>iximeow</span></a></span> yes and i despise this</p><p>on principle i veto it in any of my rust projects</p>
<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@whitequark" class="u-url mention">@<span>whitequark</span></a></span> part of me would unironically want this and i'd probably rust again</p><p>(but there's the other part that thinks aligning the text _just so_ in some particular instance makes a bit of meaning more clear)</p><p>...to be clear, it's been a while since i've actually done any of this</p>
<p>concept: rustfmt binary that can clicker-train you</p>
