<p>Paper prototyping reveals that the inner and outer rings of the circular slide rule should have a larger difference in their diameters.</p>

The nails on the picture are through the hand, that would have ripped off quickly.<br />The feet normally were nailed down to make the pain worse and limit the ability to stand upright.</p><p>Still pretty painful like that, but if they really want to reenact it I would be disappointed.</p>

People who do it seem to feel that way. I am surprised though that they are not doing it properly. They seem to avoid the actual torture for q good show. <br />I somehow have a feeling that is an expression of their relationship with faith...</p>
