<p>i'm eternally confused about people replying to me here to the extent of "dual-use tools are not inherently bad"</p><p>yes. i am acutely aware. i don't think i've ever said anything to dispute it?</p>

<p>i need these two pins for SWD</p><p>at the factory, they most likely used serial programming, which i don't want to use as i'm unfamiliar with it and it's not even easier (the board has an RS232 level shifter, etc)</p>

Will you need to apply some fault injection or something? Or does it have an external(Q)SPI flash? The internal flash is quite large in that thingie.</p>
