On mobile I use element, because there's nothing else for iphone, and it suuuucks, both in performance and UX</p>

<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://social.treehouse.systems/@dysfun" class="u-url mention">@<span>dysfun</span></a></span> & I found out Profanity is single-threaded not opening it for 2 weeks getting completely locked on incoming messages which isn’t great.</p><p>Granted, 98% of these messages are from fkin DroneDB on libera.chat + OFTC blocking my dynamic IP address for hosting at home. Real annoying stuff not being able to access these networks 50% of the time (ISP rotates IPs like twice a day).</p>

<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://social.treehouse.systems/@dysfun" class="u-url mention">@<span>dysfun</span></a></span> For context, I really only check it a couple of times a week from browser (LibreWolf) & Android (LineageOS for microG) which both require essentially the full sync since I don’t keep it open perpetually (consumes more resources than lighter chat & I don’t use it frequently enough to warrant such usage).</p>
