<p>Is it just me or, post-pandemic, have US hotels steadily and quietly (and increasingly inconveniently) shifted their check-in time from 3pm to 4pm?</p>
<p>Amazon has shut off the feed that allowed Delicious Library to look up items, unfortunately limiting the app to what users already have (or enter manually).</p><p>I wasn’t contacted about this.</p><p>I’ve pulled it from the Mac App Store and shut down the website so nobody accidentally buys a non-functional app.</p>

<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@film_girl" class="u-url mention">@<span>film_girl</span></a></span> For Macs, you could do something with MDM, looks like: <a href="https://developer.apple.com/documentation/devicemanagement/restart_a_device" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">developer.apple.com/documentat</span><span class="invisible">ion/devicemanagement/restart_a_device</span></a></p><p>If you don't want to enroll into MDM, if you can SSH in you can reboot.</p><p>Multiple ways to skin this cat heh</p>

<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@film_girl" class="u-url mention">@<span>film_girl</span></a></span> I do that (and a bunch of other goofy stuff) like this:</p><p><a href="https://sixcolors.com/post/2018/01/remote-control-a-mac-from-an-iphone-via-workflow/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">sixcolors.com/post/2018/01/rem</span><span class="invisible">ote-control-a-mac-from-an-iphone-via-workflow/</span></a></p><p>The multiple-Macs version:</p><p><a href="https://doingthatwrong.com/home/oowmv3" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">doingthatwrong.com/home/oowmv3</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p>
<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@film_girl" class="u-url mention">@<span>film_girl</span></a></span> It would be nice to do it in an official, clean way. Always helpful for headless Mac mini servers. </p><p>Harsh way: Put a homekit outlet in front of the Mac and set it to "restart automatically after a power failure." Helpful for when it freezes and you'd need a hard reboot anyway. </p><p>Hazel way: I have mine set so that if Hazel see a file in iCloud, it should run an applescript for restarting. When I'm away, I just use iCloud on my iOS device copy that file into the watched folder.</p>
