I use MacOS at home and Win11 at work.</p><p>The apps are generally very good on Mac, but so far the apps I've needed have been fine in Fedora. It's just little issues that I need to work around that I wouldn't have to on the other OS's. Having said that, there were other issues that I had to work around on Mac too.</p>

It's bloody lovely and I haven't noticed any issues with the different ratio.</p><p>The build quality is very good, but the Mac is another level. For the upgradability (is that even a word?) I'm happy to forego a bit of bling.</p>

Never seen another person use borland's turbo family of editors in 2025</p><p>I made a toy dos web wrapper of Turbo C++ a year and a half ago with js-dos! <p>just discovered that creating a new WINEPREFIX makes it eat 1.7 GB of space and now i suspect i know why my 2 TB SSD is so full</p><p>i was creating a *lot* of them, basically for every application, assuming they were like... full of links to the real binaries or something</p><p>nope it copies almost two gigabytes of windows userspace into each and every one</p><p>at least it's fast</p>
