<p>I grow weary of all the Mastodon reply-guys that always feel like they just *have* to lecture you on what you use. So i’m moving my personal fully to Bluesky. I’ll cya there.</p><p><a href="https://bsky.app/profile/tinobeans.bsky.social" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">bsky.app/profile/tinobeans.bsk</span><span class="invisible">y.social</span></a></p><p>Until the day it goes down the shitter, I won’t be using this account.</p>

<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@film_girl" class="u-url mention">@<span>film_girl</span></a></span> Nilay did a great interview with their CEO. They optimise for engagement over speed of learning, so it’s slow. But they recognise that if you&#39;re not engaged, you won&#39;t learn anything.</p>
<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@slamelov" class="u-url mention">@<span>slamelov</span></a></span> i use the best tool for me, maybe just stop prodding at people about what they use because it’s annoying</p>

<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://urusai.social/@nazokiyoubinbou" class="u-url mention">@<span>nazokiyoubinbou</span></a></span> <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@gamingonlinux" class="u-url mention">@<span>gamingonlinux</span></a></span> so far Bluesky has talked a whole lot about how open they are but it really should come with some major asterisks attached, as everything actually meaningful about the service is still centralized</p><p>you can host your own PDS but if their servers go down that PDS is useless</p><p>maybe they get to actual decentralization, maybe not, but given they&#39;re a for-profit company I don&#39;t understand how they simultaneously sell subscriptions to make money and stay &quot;open&quot;</p>
<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@gamingonlinux" class="u-url mention">@<span>gamingonlinux</span></a></span> <br />Yes, of course. But it is strange that being a person who defends GNU/Linux as a gaming platform, do not defend free alternatives that respect people&#39;s privacy. Just that. <br />Everyone uses what he wants, obviously.</p>
