I think that the system linker and tooling should be supporting more transformative use cases like this, including additional padding in all DT_STRTAB entries referenced from DT_RPATH or DT_RUNPATH, or additional padding in PT_DYNAMIC for extra tags. Doing it early means being able to keep more security hardening enabled.</p>
