<p>Deleted my last post, but I will say this, foss purists and zealots are some of the most annoying people around, and it's a real problem on Mastodon.</p><p>Replies here are no longer monitored regularly (if at all). If you want me, email me, details on profile.</p><p>Posts will continue as normal, as they auto-post when I publish. <p>I spent Mon and Wed teaching my accelerated intro class about PoW and blockchains. (Yes, don't worry, I wasn't mindlessly pro. I still think they are technologically very interesting.) What's the state of Proof of Useful Work systems? I've seen a few proposals; haven't studied them closely.</p>
