<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@mhoye" class="u-url mention">@<span>mhoye</span></a></span> to address the core point though: whenever i consider a rewrite of something, it&#39;s probably because i&#39;ve sunk a few years into trying to fix the technology and it&#39;s just not feasible. maybe it&#39;s too expensive. maybe the legacy users of it will protest. maybe the problem domain shifted too much</p><p>but i guess it&#39;s not what you&#39;re talking about here, are you?</p>
