also public transport is much cheaper too, a singapore dollar for shortest distance compared to ¥220, and though the train network isn’t as dense as japan’s, the bus network certainly means there’s a nice stop every 5 minutes which is fantastic if you feel lazy and don’t want to walk alot

i can go from my home using bus and train and cross into malaysia using a singapore bus and it’s all counted as one trip here every single operator and mode is its own single little fare and it makes me think about my transport choices at times

singapore’s switch between train lines and buses counted as one trip system really has spoiled me; in japan switching between different train operators incurs a fee and it is painful :neocat_notice:
