Even now, the limit to the ambition here is based on "if we spend on defence, what must me cut?" The US built its postwar economy on near unlimited "debt" used to finance the military.</p>

They've been behind movements to prohibit modding of the game despite those mods being only for the singleplayer space. And it doesn't help that they can't be arsed to support Linux despite it growing as a viable platform for gaming.</p>
