@rosenator i can understand infinite scroll for comments but not for articles, it's annoying

@xgranade yeah

i use a CW when i want other people to opt out of it without unfollowing me
i don't use a CW when i don't
it's as simple as that

That is, I've considered the above and it's an intentional decision on my part. It's not one that I think there's meaningful agreement or disagreement on, so much as deciding who to follow or unfollow, filter or mute, and possibly even block entirely.

Please do what you need to curate your feed and make it the social media environment that will help you the most and keep you safe.

Please also understand that I'm doing what I'm doing on purpose, and for reasons that I've considered for myself.

As a reminder, I don't CW uspol in general any more. I stopped doing that when Trump won under the theory that I can no longer tell my life as a trans person apart from the systematized threats against my trans identity that are broadly called "uspol."

Plenty of people have made similar decisions, and plenty have made the opposite, each with perfectly reasonable arguments. That's not contradictory, but points to that CW policies are, at the end of the day, personal decisions.

This is like Drake and Kendrick if they were both without talent or charisma. What a wonderful day.

@gamingonlinux there's also too many sites that just don't *have* a bottom anymore, they just stitch whatever articles they have on the bottom of the first one and keep going. as if it's the content i clicked there for

@whitequark I dunno from whom I stole this but it felt appropriate in this context
