still tho. like. even this i somewhat don't understand. i am conscious that it happens but i also don't know what drives people to read something on the internet and accept it at face value, with not even a hint of distrust as to the motives of the person pushing it
but at the same time, people just blindly boost and spread misinformation on social media unknowingly, so i can actually believe this
it kinda baffles me that people just blindly trust the output of llms and don't even do any verification personally, even when someone or something that isn't an llm tells me something, i still take it with a grain of salt and look for other sources for confirmation
