If I’m honest about what other people did, they stop talking to me. Easy solution: just be in denial about all of it, nobody did me wrong, what I did was’t that bad, no need to talk.</p>

<p>Today’s anger management class is talking about assertive communication, advising to state factually what the other person did — and I’ve been avoiding doing that, since I learned this usually makes people blow up. I think I was taught to « negotiate » the past rather than accept it and move on ?</p>
