<p>ok, so, you know how Dermabond (surgical skin glue) is composed of 2-octylcyanoacrylate?</p><p>I wanted to glue a laptop together but it turns out that the only cyanoacrylate I had on hand was knockoff Dermabond I got a while ago to test it (it's just possibly thickened ethylcyanoacrylate, I think) and I can report that:</p><p>yes, you can glue laptop parts together with skin glue<br />yes, they hold well<br />unsure whether it's worse or better than normal superglue but I think the thickener makes it easier</p>
