<p>Anyways, if you played band in high school, it's never too late to take it up again. There's probably some community band nearby you can join. You'll probably find that your playing comes back a lot faster than you think. I hadn't played in like 25 years when I started again.</p>
<p>Just realized I've been playing trombone for about seven years now (I restarted when my kids started to play in grade school). Seven years is same time I spent in graduate school so that puts a weird kind of perspective on it.</p><p>In an escalating world of AI hell, I must admit that trombone is a nice escape. If it's going to sound good, it's all on you.</p>
