<p>I had a great time hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park with Kid A (no longer a kid, really) yesterday. Great views, lots of alpine flowers, krummholz, marmots and pika, just enough snow to be interesting.</p><p>Rocky was a bit of a shitshow. Despite the timed entry system, parking lots were at 110% capacity. But the shuttles were running well, tourists were happy and smiling. Perfect weather helped a lot.</p>
