<p>these are not the actual part numbers because their part numbering system will give you brainrot in and of itself, without this particular issue</p>
<p>i suspect what happened was that they were contractually obligated to ship "PARTNO" (labelled "PARTNO6") to someone and they couldn't do it with the die they had due to errata or something, and they didn't want to respin it to fix the errata, so they just shipped the next generation as "PARTNO" (labelled "PARTNOC6") and fulfilled their contract this way</p><p>this is pure guesswork though</p>
