Any downloaded songs will play offline (as nature intended). I love that songs can be added to the playlist from anywhere else (say a PC) and phone will just download them automatically later.</p><p>Supposedly it will delete the songs if the device hasn&#39;t been online for 28 days or so. Even if that ever happened, going back online would just retrieve them again automatically.</p>

I have a &quot;smart&quot; playlist that automatically downloads my playlist to my device, yet it still requires an internet connection to play the songs.</p><p>That&#39;s not to mention the random times it just decides not to play a song at all.</p>
