<p>One of the inventors of Brain-Machine Interface is a neuroscientist friend of mine. Neuralink has not yet invented anything. All of their viral demonstrations so far with the BMI/BCI tech has been around for more than 20 years in many neurotech labs. Neuralink is rather a commercial neurotech company that has only improved the engineering parts and has not produced new neuroscience research (or so far).</p><p>Don't get fooled by the hype. The inventor is mad at them.</p>
