After that, I joined a local no audition community band. It's been great and pretty low-key.</p><p>I've actually been pretty surprised at the depth of playing options in the area. I've continued to play with the original group I joined, but there seems to be quite a few bands all over the area of varying intensity.</p>

Before my career in software, I actually majored in Music Ed and played a ton. Then I got jaw surgery and it completely altered my embouchure, right around the time I switched majors. Haven’t really played since then.</p><p>Watching the John Williams doc on Disney+ reminded me how much I used love it. It would be interesting to see how quickly it could come back.</p>

<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@gamingonlinux" class="u-url mention">@<span>gamingonlinux</span></a></span> I have been using the app called Ivory on iOS. Its usually a step ahead in features. As a social media nobody, I haven’t had this issue though.</p>
