Interesting gameplay loop. My big complaint at the moment is that when doing a second run, the game gets mega choppy on my steam deck. An issue I don't have on Steam (borealis) on my Chromebook.</p>

If you want to see it in person, watch out for magpies, and eat banh mi!</p>

<p>Moon Watch mixes up the bullet heaven survivor genre with time-stopping and deck-building into something strategic <a href="https://www.gamingonlinux.com/2024/12/moon-watch-mixes-up-the-bullet-heaven-survivor-genre-with-time-stopping-and-deck-building-into-something-strategic/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">gamingonlinux.com/2024/12/moon</span><span class="invisible">-watch-mixes-up-the-bullet-heaven-survivor-genre-with-time-stopping-and-deck-building-into-something-strategic/</span></a></p><p><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/MoonWatch" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>MoonWatch</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/IndieGames" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>IndieGames</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Linux</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/SteamDeck" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>SteamDeck</span></a></p>

<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@shriramk" class="u-url mention">@<span>shriramk</span></a></span> <br />With Teams as an opponent there is not much drive to improve Zoom's UI</p>
<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@shriramk" class="u-url mention">@<span>shriramk</span></a></span> they have a super-severe case of configurationitis</p>
<p>You look at Zoom's UI changes and think, "You achieved the dream—becoming a common noun—beating Skype, but seem intent on losing it". I'm sure they do great engineering, but amazes me how over 4 years their UI has not gotten vastly better and has actually gotten somewhat worse.</p>
<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@gamingonlinux" class="u-url mention">@<span>gamingonlinux</span></a></span> That is very curious, since in theory, Threads has a lot of users compared to Mastodon. The Fediverse network is in fact the smallest network of all with around +1 million monthly active users, while Threads claimed to have 275 million monthly active users in 2024.</p>
