Was so interesting watching something be in taken apart and fixed. I think that sparked something in me and why I’m now so hands on with technology.</p>
<p>My highschool math teacher was sexist to me, he said: "According to psychology, men and women are not equal because more men are into STEM because of hormones. There are very few women in STEM because...hormones!" 🤡</p><p>I'm tired. 😮💨</p>

The other change is that these things are more professionalized than when we were in grad school, so some of those roles are taken on by professional organizers hired by SIGPLAN.</p>
