reminder that there are good Pb-free solders (e.g. Sn99-Ag0.3-Cu0.7 with 2% RMA) that are just as fit for purpose as Pb60-Sn40, and you can switch to Pb-free without compromising how your joints flow

I thought programmers knew that spreadsheets are the most widely used programming language. And that it's a functional programming language. With a dedicated UI. And it supports quick iterative development.

I am not good at this language myself, and I am not drawn to it. But I know it exists and respect it.

It used to be BASIC competed with spreadsheets in how ubiquitous and accessible programming was, but that era is long gone. Unix shell is still around though.

#programming

A Raspi 5 8gb model with M.2 hat, 256gb SSD, power adapter and necessary cooling puts me just below 200€.
For that price I can get a x86-based Mini-PC with way more power, way more reliable features (like WPA3 and AV1 support) and more upgradeability. Or hell, even 3 to 4 used Mini-PCs with the same power.

Instead of their original goal (cheap & accessible) they went for growth and profit, even going public. Sad to see.
