That said, Teslas are pretty expensive luxury cars... I might feel differently if they weren't in and of themselves symbols of pretty significant privilege.</p>

To varying degrees, but we've been on a pretty direct road to fascism for decades at least, and a lot of those steps have been really ordinary things people went along with.</p>
