With their friends/roommates (also chemE), they were having a laugh using a water sprayer on this pièce of Ca, and making it explode into ever smaller bits. One of those bits landed in an open Nutella jar. Nutella doesn't have nearly enough (liquid) water to make the Ca explode. The mouth of the roommate eating directly from the jar with a spoon, however... 😬</p>

In order to not give away details by frequency inference they have to keep up a schedule of random transmissions. Those random transmissions are often left up to the operators to construct as they see fit. You're not far off the mark.</p>
