<p>I don&#39;t know what the cause of this is, and I&#39;m intentionally avoiding blaming anyone (for those that think it&#39;s a white problem) or anything (for those that think it&#39;s because of a lack of certain features) yet.</p><p>I really like the fediverse, even though mastodon is all I use. I like the spirit of the fedi, and I&#39;ll like to see it work.</p>

<p>Okay, this is part of my contribution to the idea of a monoculture on mastodon. </p><p>I&#39;m Nigerian. Nigeria is about to go on a huge public strike, and I haven&#39;t heard anything about it here. Now, I don&#39;t blame anyone for that, obviously, but I think it shows the fact that perhaps there aren&#39;t as many Africans as I&#39;d like.</p>

Wow, was that ever an eye opener as I watched him speed-run through influencer YouTube videos as if they were a kind of reference manual. </p><p>After about 30 minutes of watching that nonsense, I finally suggested &quot;why don&#39;t you just paste the error message into Google?&quot; My work was then done.</p>
