@anisanoviana@mastodon.social temanku baru bilang ke gw: “rendah hati itu sifat yang bagus, tapi jangan merendahkan hati sampai kena depresi” :akko_confused:

I don't know what the cause of this is, and I'm intentionally avoiding blaming anyone (for those that think it's a white problem) or anything (for those that think it's because of a lack of certain features) yet.

I really like the fediverse, even though mastodon is all I use. I like the spirit of the fedi, and I'll like to see it work.

Okay, this is part of my contribution to the idea of a monoculture on mastodon.

I'm Nigerian. Nigeria is about to go on a huge public strike, and I haven't heard anything about it here. Now, I don't blame anyone for that, obviously, but I think it shows the fact that perhaps there aren't as many Africans as I'd like.

They require you to have a domain (hence the previous comment), but are fairly priced, work well for setting up mail for multiple people and have some nice and powerful features for aliasing, pattern matching and so on.
Migrated me and my family over to them a good while ago and am not looking back.

https://www.migadu.com/

Wow, was that ever an eye opener as I watched him speed-run through influencer YouTube videos as if they were a kind of reference manual.

After about 30 minutes of watching that nonsense, I finally suggested "why don't you just paste the error message into Google?" My work was then done.
