@koakuma@uwu.social I tried to learn mandarin for like 2 months, the characters I learned still help when reading menus lol. but ultimately my inability to perceive tones annoyed the shit out of me and I dropped it. intend to pick it up again before I finish uni, while I am still in an environment where I can actually use it daily
