If that’s the case, forget getting any consistent connection (think a Vegas convention center), even if you have fast data on the phone, your hotspot will drop b/c WiFi.</p>

It’s fine for small increments. But if you’re trying to upload video or do a lot of data intensive work that needs an internet connection, it isn’t ideal. An iPad better to tether than a phone b/c battery but built-in or a USB connected modem is way better.</p>

B/c if I could run real apps on it or it had a real file browser, I have a portable with a keyboard case and cellular data</p>
