<p>Perhaps my own personal feelings on respectability are a bit odd, informed not just by my own queerness that took far too long for me to recognize and understand, but also by having spent the majority of my life trying to get a field of academic and industrial research to love me back.</p><p>Whether it's about queerness, disability, race, or just the plain ol' capitalist grind, you will never submit enough to be loved.</p>
