<p>Whoever becomes the next president of USA, it's a lose-lose situation. China will still eventually surpass USA in economy. America is cornered. It was the dominant country in 20th century but not in this 21st century. You should still vote, I guess. It's your right. 🤷🏻♀️</p>

I think it's very hard to fight against the curiosity-killing aspects of modern technology with black-box algorithms and a default dismissal of open source/free software tools in favor of walled gardens. But I agree that we should not be seeing this in scientific circles.</p>
