<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://with.iridium.ink/@artemis" class="u-url mention">@<span>artemis</span></a></span> sorta. we fixed a few issues where the hairy ball theorem raised its ugly head, a few more still remain</p><p>in my experience, by far the worst part of the process is not the constraint solver (which freecad uses these days) but rather the NURBS engine, which is also why i put in so much effort into solvespace</p>

<p>Man, imagine if a professional fiction writer wanted to make the point that the tech community, even the ones who say they’re anti-AI, are embarrassingly malnourished in the arts. Imagine if they posted an “email” they received from an “AI bro” that was blatantly, fractally satire using the idea of the hate-reader email as a framing device, and proceeded to laugh their toes off at all the replies from techies engaging with it as a literal email from a real AI bro to be logically debated point-by-point and not a work of satire underscoring the non-quantifiable value of the arts. Wouldn’t that give us all something to think about. For legal purposes this post is speculative fiction</p>
