I just can't with the "consent champions" on social media anymore. You're a public social media, people interacting with you is the point. If you don't want that, you're in the wrong place. You gave your consent the moment you signed up. You gave your consent a second time the moment you published your post as "public." Stop being silly just for the sake of appearing more progressive than you are. #SocialMedia #Fediverse #Consent

The number and breadth of extremely mainstream businesses who aren't afraid to participate in Rhode Island PrideFest is wonderful, given the way companies have been targeted just for acknowledging basic human rights. Nice to live here.

Ironically, my first query (that has always been hard for Google) was to a site on blogspot…which is owned by Google. Amazing.

@ricci Just the idea of being able to up/downvote sites made me give it a try, and as of this evening, I'm a paying customer. I did a sample search, got a bunch of tripadvisor hits at the top, immediately lowered it, and wondered why I haven't been able to do this all along.

@shriramk It's worth the money, IMHO

OMG Google, you're desperate. What you just did is exactly *why* I just started to pay for Kagi.
