@vaartis ahh, I like hack n slashes

good night ^^

busy day tomorrow

@jesu I probably played like half of HLD by now (all the triangles in north and west) and unfortunately I am still not having fun
@jesu if you haven't played Tunic, I would recommend that. Playing HLD just makes me think that I liked Tunic a lot more. They are similar in many aspects but I liked what Tunic does a lot, a lot more. It's also not as brutally difficult.
@vaartis I really enjoyed it
I think I will proably not be finishing Hyperlight Drifter any time soon. I really dislike a lot of things it does.

Over on the fediverse (or at least the German speaking part of it) there’s a bit of a challenge going on: post 20 books that shaped you, but only their covers without any comments. Now of course I won’t be able to skip the comments, so here they are. (Think of them as the DVD extra to the post.)

Großer-Tiger und Christian by Fritz Mühlenweg is probably the book that I have read the most often. Written in the late 40s it tells the story of a Chinese and a German boy who venture into the Gobi desert with one of the first trucks. It’s full on intrigue, adventure, danger and friendship, written in a wry humor and it appealed to me a lot when I was at the main characters’ age and it still retains a lot of its magic years later.

I might just need to re-read it again. Da gibt es keine Hilfe.

#20books #FritzMühlenweg #GroßerTigerUndChristian
