<p>Seattle voters have explicitly and loudly demanded social housing, but this reactionary city council is attempting to delay and destroy it. Right now they are trying to delay I-137 (despite it having the numbers) to a low-turnout special election next year instead of the November ballot, and trying to muddy the waters around it to distract voters.</p><p>Tell them to act without delay! <p>Starting September 1, Austin Clements will be taking over as the tech lead of Go: both the Go team at Google and the overall Go project. Austin is currently the tech lead for what we sometimes call the “Go core”, which encompasses compiler toolchain, runtime, and releases.
