We use EdStem at Brown and it&#39;s got its weaknesses but it&#39;s way better than Canvas or Piazza, so I&#39;m happy with it. Main thing about not doing it by email is I can use different channels for different purposes.</p>

I&#39;ve had them email me assignments last summer and that went great. Also they never once really used the Piazza site I had set up and kept updating. So I learned that if I should ever teach again (doubtful), it&#39;s a mailing list and email and that&#39;s it. The people who don&#39;t want that can drop. 🤷 I know, I know, I am an evil anarchist. 😄 (To be clear, this was about Blackboard.)</p>
