<p>We're working on a set of cross platform open source PCIe drivers for ThunderScope (which uses the LiteX LitePCIe core). In order to get them signed we had to get a PCI-SIG VID - the first open source hardware project to do so (to my knowledge).</p><p>According to PCI-SIG ToS, these aren't supposed to be used by people outside of our company! So whatever you do, do NOT use our VID (pictured below) for your own project!!</p><p>We will share which PIDs to avoid using once the drivers get signed.</p>

Seems dishonest. Also what is the cause of secrecy there? It's just a rpi 5 with off the shelf display, battery and keyboard in a molded case.</p>
