This is _exactly_ why I want the posts to stay up, so that when five years later I remember a faint echo of a conversation, I can pull it up and find out what it was about. I do that daily with Twitter, which has been disrupted by a lot of people deleting their accounts, but is useful even to this day. My &quot;archive&quot; is near-useless because it doesn&#39;t include replies.</p>

The last 15 years of my life have been defined by basically everything important happening on the internet and, often, on social media (that&#39;s kind of how I have any of my friends? that&#39;s how I transitioned? that&#39;s how I found the last three jobs in a row? that&#39;s how I launched--with others--a very successful open source hardware device?).</p>
