JP learning has reached the point where knowing the kanji behind many terms is incredibly helpful BUT JP school so far only has reached the point of using hiragana only so far, no katakana yet let alone kanji :cirno_angry:

Good morning! We've started up our trucks. We've opened up our warehouses. We've logged on to our computers. And as you can see I've gone for a cheeky cofe and a bowl of oatmeal. There's also some strawberry jam (I don't agree with it but it's happening anyway) and you know me, I never look when I scoop because I'm the absolute governor. So I generally know that there’s two groups of people who identify as progressives: 1. Political progressives 2. Cultural progressives Sometimes these groups overlap but not always. Imagine a Venn diagram if you will. But the group that I’m very leery about are people who are cultural progressives but *not* political progressives because their progressivism is entirely performative and is largely about the social status associated with progressivism. They’re wearing a costume. Now the reason I know they’re not politically progressive is because at every turn any actual progress happens, they try their hardest to sabotage the cause by sealioning and concern trolling. Or worse, when they’re in positions of power, hide behind decorum and procedure to prevent any change from happening. This is why I put no stock in the *aesthetics* of progressivism.
