Note to future self: when you karaoke too hard and decide you can’t take your 1:30pm flight, plz reconsider rebooking for 5:30am the following morning. As it means leaving for the airport at 3:55am.

@gamingonlinux It is sad that list of Pvp competive games is getting shorter. Pretty much only available games are from Valve, Blizzard (switch is Microsoft now so I am worried for those games) and few random one like Guild Wars.

Also FaceIt is core part of some games like CSGO, so even if game is supported on Linux that doesn't mean that the "hardcore comp" is available.

@dabeaz David! How many times! The candy is for _the kids_! You finished the _whole_ _bag_?!?! :-P

@gamingonlinux is there any chance to get some statistics from these companies? Something more than "linux open, cheats bad"?
I would really like to take a look at these. Without any data it just feels like empty marketing words to me.

@gamingonlinux

I got it working. There's an additional hurdle if you're from a country other than the US. You're led to a website with a banner and a round blue button that says "Continue" in your language, and if you click it, it leads to an error shown as a raw JSON string.

Rather than clicking on the button, scroll down to the bottom of the page. Bottom left corner should have the country selection list. Pick the US, and that should automatically reload the page and lead to a success message.

I will admit that sending the kid out in the car alone to a party with a new license on Halloween might be questionable parenting. On the other hand the text "Dad, I made it and successfully parallel parked" might override it.
