All of our signals are noisy, but it's really important both for the credentialing role of educational institutions and for evaluating whether the teaching was successful. The imperfection of exams is clear - but I don't think they're a net negative.</p>

Rote memorization is an unfamiliar way to learn a library, but not always ineffective, at least not for me</p>
