<p>One huge pet peeve I have is how the industry uses the term &quot;systems programming&quot;. A lot of people use it to exclusively refer to software that is &quot;close to the metal&quot; which is a dumb and meaningless definition that does not hold true for most cases that people refer to as examples of &quot;systems programming&quot;.</p><p>I like this definition from Wiki more, its far from perfect but more sensible:</p><p>&quot;systems programming aims to produce software and software platforms which provide services to other software&quot;</p>

<p>What we can talk about is how Dem leadership endorses centrist representatives and senators over progressive ones... I think the decompile process lost something: xor between int and byte converts to int but only affects the lower 8 bits? Then gets converted to byte???</p>
