@cell@pl.ebin.zone well mostly a representative role, and in theory so that the president can be apolitical and look after us if the chancellor messes up, or goes around listening to people‘s issues. But in practice it’s just another party member who suspends their membership for their term. We did have good presidents in the past though. The current one really shows the issues and irrelevance of that role.
