But here again, not all of us have the comfort for being able to make those moral calls. If you live in Ukraine today, you *really* wish you had invested more in private defense industry and had better drones to defend you from Russian soldiers. The further away you are from raw aggression, the more you can afford to make broad moral judgments about weapons development.</p>
